Ruckdeschel, Janet Louise

87, St. Petersburg, FL, passed in peace on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Suncoast Hospice Woodside. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Potter and Helen Hall; and siblings, Darwin and Ann. Surviving family include brothers, Robert Potter and Pete Potter; sons, Michael Ruckdeschel and Martin Ruckdeschel; daughters, Teresa Brunton and Tammi Risk; grandchildren, Amber Ruckdeschel, Ashley Pedone, Blaine Brunton, Connor Brunton, Christopher Ruckdeschel, Wesley Brock and Sara Risk; and great-grandchildren, London Pedone, Elliot Brunton and Zane Brunton. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews. Janet was a sweet and loving lady filled with kindness. She raised four children, was active with the Scouts and loved animals, baking, music and art. As a CNA, she enjoyed working with and caring for the elderly. Janet always had a joke, a giggle and a smile for everyone. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered and treasured. An intimate memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33704, from 5-6 pm.
