Jean DeVoe Obituary

DeVOE, Jean 89, of Clearwater, and long time Largo resident, passed away Dec. 25, 2011, in Clearwater. She was born in Fremont, OH and was an educator in home economics for 33 years in California. She was a civil service employee for the Army and served in Japan for 3 years in the early 1950's. Her Masters degree in education was received from Michigan State University in 1944. Ms. DeVoe moved to Florida in 2001. She enjoyed travel, camping and cake decorating. Her memberships included Anona United Medthodist Church, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Optomist Club, American Legion Post 273, Ladies Auxillary Clearwater, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include a brother John DeVoe (Grace); sister Helen Rosbolt, and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 am on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at Anona United Methodist Church in Largo. Memorial contributions may be made of either Suncoast Hospice or Anona United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel Largo, www.mossfeasterlargo.com.

My condolences to John, Helen and all of the DeVoe gang. I would like to be with you for AJ's funeral services but time and distance will not permit me to do so. I will always have fond memories of AJ, as will my family. She will be remembered as a part of our family also.
