Jim MANETTA Obituary

MANETTA, Jim was born March 14, 1954, in Highland Park, Michigan to Emil J. and Sarah (Carbone) Manetta. Jim spent most of his life in the Detroit area, relocating to Clearwater, Florida upon retirement. He was a man of faith and family, who was always willing to help others. Jim entered into eternal life on June 17, 2022, in Lakeland, FL, after a lengthy battle with AML. Jim is survived by his children, Randall, Rebecca, Jeffrey, Timothy and James; grandchildren, Ashton, Austin and Liam Manetta; brother, Frank (Barb) Manetta, as well as his fiancé Mary Ann Dillon. Jim served with the Knights of Columbus at Espiritu Santo Church. He had attained the rank of 4th degree Knight. Rite of Christian burial will be held at Espiritu Santo Roman Catholic Church, Safety Harbor, Florida, Saturday, August 6, at 10 am. Luncheon immediately following.

Our family has wonderful memories of laughter and garlic! He was so good to him mother. Always talked of his children... he will be remembered and missed by us all.
