Jimmy came on board at City First Bank as senior commercial lender. His good friend Bobbi Rusnak also worked there and had acquainted him with my banking experience. Learning that he was a fellow Robinson graduate was a bonus! We worked well together both of us being detail minded people and interested in making our bank the best it could be. Jimmy was a true friend to many as evidenced by his involvement with them when help was needed. He was the first king crowned at Robinson's Night of Knights. We often discussed the reunions held but never got to attend a joint reunion with multiple classes. Jimmy relied on me to keep his loans in compliance with banking regulations and we often discussed procedures to do just that. We respected each other's abilities and enjoyed each other's jokes. Even after going our separate ways in business, we kept in touch and would sometimes get to meet for lunch. Sorry to say that was not often enough. Jimmy, you are sorely missed. Hearing of your passing several months afterwards was dreadful. You come often to my mind and I pray that you are at peace.

We still can't believe that Jimmy is gone. He's been such a large part of our lives for so many decades (Milt's since high school, Milt & Ana's since 6 years later).
The Archbishop who was/is praying for Jimmy wrote this to us: New Friends are Silver, Old Friends are Gold. For us, Jimmy was Platinum. Jimmy enriched our lives SO much. He was a priceless and irreplaceable treasure.
The Reu-Knighted T. R. Robinson High School Website says that Jimmy is a Fallen Knight. We believe he is a Risen Knight that has gone straight to Heaven and resides in the Robinson Knights' Clouds Section, joining our fellow Knights of the classes of the early 1960s who are already there. I believe that Jimmy, Warren Lawton and Gary Garner have already resumed the weekly guys luncheon. I'm not sure of the time zone, but I would give odds that Gary has already complained about the price of iced tea and Warren and Jimmy were egging him on as usual. As usual, the three of them ended up laughing so hard it will hurt. This scenario will repeat itself at least weekly, though Gary may fuss about something besides the price of iced tea . . . and Jimmy and Warren will again egg him on until all three resume their weekly hurtin'-belly-laughs.
I believe that the Robinson Knights Clouds Section is multi-layered and multi-dimensional. So we Robinson Knights will not only be able to visit each other easily, but we'll also be able gather at the Colonnades, ball games, Saturday night dances, etc. And, we'll also be able to skip up, down, and around to visit our family and other friends.
By the way, when the band takes a break at the Saturday night dances, Jimmy will be doing a 15-minute stand-up comedy routine. And you know each one is going to be great!
Our hearts and prayers go out to the family, including Ellen, and his legion of friends.
Jimmy, there will be another like you. We will continue to miss you terribly until, God willing, we join you and the Knights of olde in the clouds at R

Anne Marie and I could not believe that Jim has left us for a better world. We got to know Jim at our condo at Sand Key Club and we just fell in love with his friendship and sense of humour. He will surely be missed by us and everyone at Sand Key Club. Rest in peace Jim and keep on smiling for there are too many out there that don't. Sincerest condolences to Jim' s family.
