Sandy,

As you already know, Charlie always brought a laugh and smile in our office when he visited. Though this is a time of sorrow, it is also a time of joy in the celebration of Charlie's life for so many people that he touched. Peace is with our Lord in heaven where Charlie rests today. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Jim Davis

A great big guy with a great big smile and a great big heart. He lit up the room and made everyone feel better for being there with him. The world's a poorer place for Charlie's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Over the last several years I met Charlie a few times at the Country Club in Carollwood when I was a guest. I even had the pleasure of playing golf with him on occasion. He was always a gentelman, and always made me feel welcome. I'm so sorry to hear that he won't be there the next time I get a chance to vist the club and community.

I've known Charlie less than 10 years, but we shared roots at Arizona State U. and a common set of interests. The gentleman had a charisma about him which attracted people to him and made him a natural leader. I'm going to miss him badly. A good friend and ally.

Our friend the Gentle Giant was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him, especially the "offensive line". We lost our starting tackle. Rest well Charlie. We love you.
