John Provenzano Obituary
On October 21, 2025, we lost a true renaissance man in John B. Provenzano, a leader in the insurance industry, supporter of the arts and education, and dedicated family man. He was an Ybor City native and the eldest son of Phillip and Rose Provenzano. He is survived by two brothers, Gene (Gloria) and Phillip (Cynthia). John leaves behind a rich legacy with his wife, Aurora, to whom he was married for almost 72 years. John and Aurora had two children, John (deceased) and Julie Provenzano. John has four grandchildren, Candice (Shawn) Bernstein, Andrea Provenzano, Matthew (Keegan) McGoldrick and Danielle (Josh) Whitlow; seven great-grandchildren, Colin and Cassidy Bernstein, Dax Barkely, Eliza and Elliott McGoldrick and Jonathan and Harper Whitlow; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A gathering for family and friends will take place from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Cigar City Brewing, 3924 W. Spruce Street, Tampa, FL 33607.
