I'm stunned and heartbroken for Joe's family! I was searching for my old Navy buddy only to find he passed in 2008. Joe was a great sailor and an ever better friend. We were stationed together many times and he was always there when you needed him. He was one of the good ones!

I knew Joe when he was a teenager. We attended Rock Of Ages Lutheran church in Stone Mountain Ga. He was my son's Godfather. So sorry to learn of his passing.

Elizabeth, Joey & Robert,
I hope that you guys periodically check your dad's guest book and will see this message. I can't believe that it has been eight months already since this tragic accident. I am so EXTREMELY sorry for your loss. I have thought about your dad and you guys so frequently since I found out about his death. He passed away much too young. Know that he is always with you and always a part of you and that he always loved you guys. He will be truly missed.
You are in my thoughts and in my heart. Take Good Care.

Aunt Pat and Uncle Dick give our love to Robin, Jacqueline and Abigail who have lost their father at such a young age. God will look over you all and keep you safe with Daddy by His side. Dad will always be with you in your hearts. Pray and talk to Dad all your lives. He loved you very much and did not choose to leave you so soon.
