Joe was a solid individual that represented for a community that will surely miss not just him but his visions and advice. May he be up there enjoying the freedoms without restrictions. May his family be at ease knowing Joe had an impact on many in a positive way - May we all strive to keep a clean good honest legacy in his honor

As in the song "The House That Built Me" the neighborhood I grew up in shaped me. The Lettelleirs (siblings Joe and Jan and their parents Joe Sr and Jeanne ) were the Campbell household neighbors catty corner to the back. Outgoing friendly Jan became my really good friend through the last years of elementary, then junior and senior high school. I spent many afternoons after school at her house just chatting and determining life goals with her and (after she finished work) her mom. They were all friendly, hard working, decent and accepting. Jan and I thought her older brother was really cool (and he was!). His involvement in academics, sports and community life was multi dimensional even back then. We were especially in awe of his clown diving skills as he jumped into the sport/entertainment that was just beginning. He tolerated the conversation attempts of two star struck young girls (he called me "giggly") and showed us that life was there for the exploring - an approach to life that he would continue for the next 60 or so years. One of the major thrills of my early teenage life was being invited to Joe and Becky´s wedding - the first wedding I ever attended. Even though I did not have person to person contact with Joe and Becky for most of my adult life I did occasionally try to get an update on Joe´s endeavors only to learn of his many explorations (and successes) into various aspects of business, community life and family life. He continued to exhibit energy and enthusiasm for life and maintained a kind and caring heart toward those who shared life with him. I am grateful for the inspiration he imparted. My deepest condolences to all of his family, friends, business and community service colleagues.

My heartfelt condolences to Becky, children and family for the passing of Joe. He surely was loved and admired by all. Family was very important to Joe. Once he and sister Jan came to visit my husband Rick ( their cousin) during a terminal illness and truly made him feel so happy ! A few months later Joe and Becky came to the funeral service. I'm sure You are on your way to Heaven and anxious to meet your parents, and family ...and I can only imagine the great embrace with your beloved Erin. May you Rest In Peace, with the Heavenly Father, Joe .
Love,
Tata and the Lane family

I so sad to hear about the passing of my 2nd cousin, Joe, he was a smart, funny, giving, caring man.
He always seemed to have a smile on his face.
I remember him taking me flying as a kid, so fun.
I also remember that it was the first time I had seen or been a " barrel type" of jacuzzi at their home around the age of 10?, I thought it was so cool!
He started many businesses, very successful, he also gave to many charity organizations.
He will be missed by many people, family and friends. He's probably up there now playing poker or cards with my dad and all the other family members from his family. And most of all reunited with his daughter Erin.
Peace to your family, your in my prayers.
Debbi

The Lettelleir family legacy was so led by Mr Lettelleir. There wasn´t a game over the decades if his children or grandchildren were playing that I didn´t see him and his beautiful wife in the stands. All three generations were at my fathers celebration of life. This is a loss our community will feel for a very long time. Thank you for being a good friend to my parents and a tremendous support to me and my family for a lifetime. God bless you all and may you find peace in his memories.

Joe was one of my husbands best friends in his middle and high school years. We would keep in touch each class reunion, and we would see them throughout the years, that have seemed to fly by. We were sorry to miss he and Becky Friday night at this years reunion in April.
Joe had a personality that engaged all he was with and was involved as much with his family as he was in the many friends they had.
Becky is the one true love of his life and our hearts go out to her in her loss.
Dick and Karen LaBrant will miss Joe with tears of sadness.

I knew Joe from the 1970's when he worked at Florida Federal and I worked at Florida National. I made him and his businesses a few loans over the years for some of his projects. I spoke to him about 6 months ago and can't believe he is gone. A great person who will be missed.

There are no words to express how deeply we feel the loss of Joe. So many wonderful years of friendship filled with a lot of trust in each other as well as sharing so many stories and laughs together. We are in shock as I just talked with Joe in May. No time to say goodbye.....he left us with a heart full of love and a lot of great memories. We will miss him - I will miss him....I do miss him.

Such a shock to learn of Joe`s passing. He was a man of great character. He was always easy to be with. Spoke so highly of his family. Don will truly miss his leadership skills and we both will miss his friendship. God must have needed a man with his qualifications. Our prayers are with his family.
