Judith Ann "Judy" LEVINE

1943 - 2018

75, passed away surrounded by family at Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor on September 29, 2018. After a recent diagnosis of lung cancer, she chose her final act of living with comfort, care, and dignity. Judy was born in Bridgeport, CT and preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Stephen Gerich. She raised a family in York, PA, and later graduated from York College with a B.S. Degree in Education. She relocated to Florida to be near family and dedicated 25 years to the Pinellas County School System, Adult Education Centers. Many of her students knew her as "Miss Judy," and she made a significant difference in their lives, propelling them to earn their General Equivalency High School Diplomas. After retiring, she continued to volunteer as a teacher. Survivors include former spouse and devoted friend, Milton Levine; their daughters, Tracy Lesh (Jun) and Jodi Johnston (Dennis); sister, Annette Olenoski (Bob); and granddaughters, Megan Hoffman (Bobby) and Julia Johnston. A memorial service will be held on October 27 at 10:00 a.m. in the Peacefield Chapel of Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, FL 33759, with a gathering immediately following.
