June B. CASELLA

CASELLA, June B. of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away May 17, 2013. She was born in Middletown, CT, the daughter of Pearl Stewart & Roy Buckman. During World War II, June was a member of the Army Nurse Cadet Corp. She then attended Middlesex Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and worked there as an RN in various positions for 20 years. She was a Charge Nurse at the Rocky Hill Veteran's Hospital in Connecticut until her retirement. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Raymond Casella, Sr.; 3 children, Judy Bushka and her husband Paul, James C. Lane and his wife Maria, all of Connecticut and Dwight M. Lane of South Carolina; 2 stepchildren, Pamela Schmitt of Florida and Raymond Casella Jr. of Connecticut; brother, Robert Buckman of Virginia; 8 grandchildren, James Lane Jr., Joseph Lane, Christopher Lane, Robert Lane, Tracy Perry, Robert Warner, all of Connecticut; Kerry Lane of Ireland & Erin Lane of Ohio; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Sarah Bushka; and a brother, Richard Buckman. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 22nd at 11:30 am.
