Bill,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know words can not help the ache inside of you for the loss you feel but know you are loved. You and Kay were a wonderful lesson in true love.
I know Kay is really enjoying her wings.
This poem is for Kay.
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

Our Kay is really flying now - and I'm sure that she's in or on a fast, beautiful "plane" looking down on us poor earthbound souls - just like when we fly our birds around these parts, only infinitely more exhilarating!

I thought this poem appropriate for remembering Kay ... je
Cry Not For Me
When I die
and leave behind the earth I love,
The trees,
The sky,
The sea,
The yearly hope of Spring,
Cry not for me.
Rejoice!
My soul has wings
and in its Freedom,
Sings.

Such a dear person and friend ... Kay we'll miss you terribly, but see your face in everything beautiful -- your way of letting us know it's beautiful where you are. We'll see you again on the other side.
