Kathleen DEICHEN Obituary

DEICHEN Kathleen (McGreevy) Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away May 12, 2021 at the age of 96. Born in County Mayo, Ireland, she passed her Irish traditions on to her four loving children, Linda Paz (Alberto), Kathleen Trapp (Stanley), Michael Deichen (Susan), Carolyn Stephens(Tod); eight wonderful grandchildren, Laura Stein (Blaine), Lindsey Bauer (Michael), Kellie Paz, Megan Hansen (Ed), Katie Deichen, John Deichen (Erica), Kevin Trapp (Samantha), Michael Trapp (Courtney); and 10 beautiful great-grandchildren. Kathleen was one of 12 children and is survived by her two sisters, Lily Wing and Tess Burns. She retired from Morton Plant Hospital where she worked as a ward secretary for many years. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Largo, Florida, 11 am, Friday, May 21, 2021. Kathleen's husband, Bernard, a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, predeceased her and she will be buried with him at the Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
