Kenny & I went to Jesuit together. A good friend. I knew he had joined Kansas City, but then lost touch. I have been a baseball fan all my life, so was glad to see he had made it to the "Show". So sorry to read this in the newspaper. Just lost another friend from the class of 1959. My condolences to your family. Gene

Kenny, my coworker at Hutchison Western, became a great friend and mentor over the years we worked together. I was fresh out of college and Kenny took me under his wing and taught me many things about business, sales, and just life in general. I loved hearing his old baseball stories and was fortunate enough be invited over to his house a few times.....I loved his home office where he had so many great photos of his baseball days. Rest in peace my friend. I love you and you will definitely be missed.

Ken and I were teamates at FSU. He was a great friend and an excellent athlete. Sadly, we lost contact after a few years as college friends often times we do.

So sorry for his suffering and passing.

When I was writing the book "Portrait of a Franchise" about the Cleveland Indians of the 1960s, Ken spent an hour with me on the phone, sharing his memories about his career and his teammates. It was an unforgettable phone call and it demonstrated his enthusiasm and kindness. I have been forever grateful for his generosity. Wen and I send our heartfelt sympathies to Ken's beloved family.

When I was a very young boy my Mom and Dad took me to Chicago to see the Indians play. We lived in Indiana. Mr. Suarez took time out of preparing for the to talk to and even lifted me on to a chair inside the field and put his hat on me while my Dad took 16mm moving pictures. That was a family memory that lived and lives in our family. To his family my deepest condolences. A truly nice gentleman.

Both Ken and Irene brightened any room they entered and filled it with warmth and laughter. The world is a sadder place for their passing, but what joy to know that they're together, again. My deepest condolences to their daughters.
