Laura JOHNSON Obituary

JOHNSON, Laura G., 70, of Sebring, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring. She was born on July 31, 1942, in Hillsboro, Illinois, and came to Sebring in 2005 from Witt, Illinois. She had been employed as a Supervisor of Cashiers at Walmart. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Cora Reed; and a sister, Marilyn Zupsich. She is survived by her husband, Everett H. "Duke" Johnson of Sebring, Florida; daughters, Conni Moen of Cressen, Texas, Jackie Johnson of Cressen, Texas, Dawn Simonton of Witt, Illinois, Debbie Rhodes of Nokomis, Illinois, Terri Plopper of Harristown, Illinois, Laura Dietsch of Champaign, Illinois, Penny Johnson of Peru, Illinois; sons, Cory Johnson of Tampa, Florida, Randy Simonton of Decatur, Illinois, John Simonton of Hillsboro, Illinois, Danny Robinson of Panama, Oklahoma, Duke Johnson of Midlothian, Texas; sister, Emma Johnson and husband, Frank, of Sebring, Florida; 33 grandchildren and 28 great-granchildren. Services will be at the Bass-Patton-Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Illinois, on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Cress Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro, Illinois.
