Leslie DEWITT Obituary
a native Tampan, passed away March 4, 2018 at Tampa General Hospital after a long illness. Leslie attended Gorrie Elementary, Wilson Middle, Plant High School, and The University of Florida, Go Gators. She was employed by Hillsborough County for over twenty years. She is preceded in death by her father, W. Paul DeWitt, and her husband, Andrew D. Wentis. Leslie is survived by her mother, Jo Ann Bellamy DeWitt; sister, Laurie Jo DeWitt; aunt, Sandra Barkey (John); and loving dog, Zoey. A celebration of Leslie's life will be held at the Columbia Restaurant and Museum, 2117 E 7th Ave., Tampa, FL, 33605, April 6 2018 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hillsborough County Humane Society in Leslie's name.

Leslie was a dear high school friend, someone I always felt safe an accepted by; warm, kind and loyal. And a lot of fun! I am lucky to have had such a friend.
