My brother mentioned Lil & our mom taking off with his beach buggy. Mom passed last week not too long after she and I were speaking about Lil's passing. She was upset that the last call from Lil kept cutting in and out so she really didn't get to have that final conversation with her.

I can picture them both right now. Wonder if they have those buggies in Heaven?

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Lil's passing. I met her years ago through my mother. She had the best sense of humor and welcomed me as if we had known each other for years. Her love for her family (2&4 legged) was well known. My prayers go out to her family during this difficult time...may your broken hearts be filled with her laughter and your minds filled with the beautiful memories of your time with this amazing woman.

I don't know what happened. I just fb'd back and forth with her recently. I love my Lil. My dear sweet friend and fellow animal lover. I'm so, so sorry to hear this. My heart hurts. Met Lil in the 1980's when Wayne worked with my stepfather at Fla power....remember her joy at the simple pleasures of family , friends , pets and the time she and my mother took off in my beach buggy....HUGE smiles they came back with!!!

When I started volunteering at Citrus County Animal Shelter, Lil was my constant. She was always willing to help me, to teach me, to guide me and best of all SMILE at me no matter what. I missed her immediately when she got sick and hoped to see that wonderful face one more time. It was not to be and I will continue to miss her every day.

Lil trained me to volunteer in Recovery at the animal shelter. You could tell this was not only a passion for her but also where she felt at home. Surrounded by people she loved & who loved her. Her passion for the animals was so evident . She will be greatly missed sending love & prayers
