Lonnie MALATINO Obituary

MALATINO, Lonnie Victor 78, of Feather Sound, FL. passed away suddenly on January 11, 2022. Lonnie was born in Amsterdam, NY to the late Orlando and Kathryn (Fox) Malatino. Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lisa Malatino. He also leaves to cherish his memory six daughters, Susann (Kevin) Price, Victoria (Joe) Malatino, Kathryn (Sam) Dominguez, Elizabeth (Ben) Malatino, Sarah (Marcos) Graciani, and Rachel Bollinger; twelve grandchildren and three greats-grandchildren, each of whom he loved and laughed with; four brothers, Tony (Phyllis), Ray (Debbie), Richard (Sheila), and Tom (Jana); many loved nieces, nephews, and cherished Sicilian familia. Lonnie was a graduate of Anniston (AL) High School and a proud Alumnus of the University of Alabama. "Roll tide roll." He was a Vietnam Combat Veteran and was on numerous charitable boards, namely Alpha House of St. Petersburg, Sertoma Club, American Legion, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. Lonnie retired from Franklin Templeton after 32 years of dedicated service. Lonnie's Funeral Mass is on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 1:30 pm, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 200 78th Ave. N.E, St. Petersburg, FL. A Celebration Reception will follow at Derby Lane, 10490 Gandy Blvd., St. Petersburg, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the St. Petersburg Sertoma Club, 565 Boca Ciega Point Blvd. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33708 or Alpha House of Pinellas County.
