Louise SAUNDERS Obituary
Beckton, 99, of Dunedin, passed to eternal rest on Oct. 27, 2014 at Mease Continuing Care. Born in Palm Harbor, on Nov. 22, 1914, she was a descendant of John Phillip Sutton, a pioneer of the Palm Harbor and Curlew area. She was predeceased by her husband, George. Together, they owned and operated the Dunedin Fish Company for many years. Louise was a member of the Curlew Methodist Church. Her survivors include sons, Fred Saunders, Clermont, Robert Saunders, Panama City; and daughter, Jeannette Flynn, Gainesville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, donations to Curlew Pioneer Cemetery, 2213 Cathedral Drive, Palm Harbor, FL 34683, or Suncoast Hospice, 2675 Tampa Road, Palm Harbor, FL 34684, are suggested. Visitation at 10:30 am, and funeral service at 11 am, on Nov. 1, at Curlew Methodist Church with interment following in Curlew Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements by Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main St., Dunedin, FL 34698.

My heart goes out to all of you.. She was such a great lady and influence in my life. When my dad, Rusty, would stop by to visit with me in tow.. I would watch her knit stocking after stocking.. my daughter still has one of the ones knit just for her. Prayers to all of you. I am sure the heavens are filled with new fish stories.

Dear Freddie, Robert and Jeanette, I am so sorry for your loss of your mom.she and your dad were dear friends of my parents. Jeanette ,remember the fish docks st Dunedin? I remember swimming there with you when we were kids. I also remember dreading weighing in on the scales there. Wish I could be there with you but can't make it."remember her face, enjoying God's grace...."part of a poem I wrote for Eddie's service. God bless all of you.She was a dear lady.
