Ms. Peek definitely comes to my mind when I think back to my days at GCHS and remember those I liked and respected the most. Her class was one of my favorites and I also had the pleasure of playing softball for her. Thinking about her brings to mind many stories that make me smile.

Peek, wherever you are I hope you are thinking to yourself, 'Self, you sure touched a lot of lives and left a positive legacy out there in the world.'. Because you did.

My condolences to her family and friends.

Ms. Peek was a gift to the world of education. She positively motivated and inspired me and many of my friends. She was a brilliant woman who dazzled us in class with her knowledge, perspective, witty humor, accomplishments, professionalism, and dedication. I feel blessed to have sat in her class for two years. Her teachings and words still reside with me, and I often hear her in my mind as I address my own class today. Thank you for making a difference in this world, Ms. Peek. My prayers and deepest sympathy.

Thank you for expecting and demanding our very best. One does not appreciate these types of educators until you look back at high school. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, Ms. Kinnunen and the rest of the Gulf High Family. Ms. Peek, thank you for being an inspiration.

Aunt Margaret has a place in my heart.
As I look back over the years, I remember all of the best things she shared with us all. Her pioneering spirit, her steadfast nature, and the way she seemed to encourage new growth; I certainly admired this most about her. The way Margaret was dedicated to bringing another and another generation greater knowledge of our world... Her memory will always be an inspiration to me, as I'm sure it has been to her family, her friends, her students, and each life she touched along the way.
My prayers, love, and deepest condolences...

A most spectacular teacher. She knew how to liven up a subject and make you take notice, even when you had other things you'd rather concentrate on. It saddens me that new generations of students will be unable to enjoy firsthand the humor that was Ms. Peek and her simple explanations of why warning labels exist.
