Marilyn and Raymond were our backdoor neighbors for which we shared a gate between our two yards because of our friendship with my Father, Mother and myself. So many good times!!! Her wit and humor were wonderful! We will remember her with great fondness.

Dody & Jeanne:

I am so sorry about the loss of your beloved sister, Marilyn. We never met, but talked many times on the phone. She was a wonderful, kind-hearted woman who spoiled me with her gifts. S My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My dearest friend, Marilyn - I can't believe it was 55 years ago we met at Kaman Aircraft Corporation in the Office of Military Operations Research, the government contracting arm of KAC. We were in our early 20's and it was my first job after college. You were like a ray of sunshine every day you walked into the office. You were a gorgeous brunette in those days with your dark mischevious eyes, bright smile and Barbie Doll figure! I could have been jealous of you but I loved your sarcastic sense of humor and admired the fact that you were very good at your job. It wasn't long before we bonded and became fast friends and got into all kinds of innocent mischief. It didn't hurt that all military helicopter test pilots came through our office! We called ourselves Partners in Crime and PIC stuck all of our lives. Most recently, you were my PICIT (PIC in Tampa) and I was your PICIS (PIC in Sarasota). Remember the time the Office Director called us into his office and very seriously told us there was too much laughter going on between us and that it was a serious office? He had no complaint about our work, though, since everything we did had to be perfect and went up to Charlie Kaman's office for his signature! We couldn't wait to find a place to burst out in more laughter after the reprimand! We did try harder not to let our laughter disrupt others in the office but we did continue our running game of Battle Ship where "You sunk my sub or my battle ship!" could occasionally be heard floating over the office partitions that separated us. While our friendship was mostly long distance once I got promoted to the Washington Office of KAC and you moved to Tampa, throughout the rest of our lives and the many trials, tribulations, victories and successes we both had, we stayed in touch and continued to make mirth and laughter our No. 1 priority! There was no one like you in this world, my dear friend, and I can't wait until I see you again as my PICIH--my Partner in Crime in Heaven. I love you and will always miss you.

My dearest friend of 24 years, I will miss you so much. I will miss our numerous phone calls we had each day. Talking about the hockey games and the horse races. The laughs we had together, I will always cherish them.
