89, of Tampa, passed away peacefully at home January 16, 2018. Mark was born in Lakeland, graduated from Lakeland High School, and then from the University of Florida. Mark proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and began his career after serving. He was a charter member and song leader of the Manhattan Avenue Church of Christ. He and his wife, Dottie, began their 53 year marriage there in 1964. He volunteered his time to the Weeki Wachee Christian Camp. Mark loved the outdoors, including camping, fishing, and shrimping. His favorite hobby was sailing,being out on the water with the wind filling his sails.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Dottie Chambers and daughter, Laura Chambers. Mark is survived by his children, Kevin Chambers, Lisa Muiselaar, Janice Chambers-Maple, Kathy (Marc) Metz; grandchildren, Nicole (Albert) Valencia, Amy (Michael) Knight, Angel (Robert) DiGiorgio, Ariel (Jordan) Jones, Jared Muiselaar, Laura and Emily Metz; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 22nd, 5-7 pm, at Blount Curry Macdill, 605 S. Macdill Ave Tampa. A funeral service will be Tuesday, January 23rd, 11 am, at Blount Curry Macdill followed by interment at Seffner Cemetery in Seffner, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made either to Weeki Wachee Christian Camp at Christian Activities Inc., PO Box 222, Pinellas Park, FL 33780-0222 or Mount Dora Children's Home at mdchome,org and click on Honor and Memorial gifts.
