I had the pleasure to drive Mike back and forth to the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa on numerous occasions. When he would get in the car he always would say, "Do you know how I hate chemo!" and we would head to Tampa, always stopping at Dunkin Donuts in Oldsmar. His sense of humor was there till the last, he confessed his belief in Jesus Christ as his Lord and he did hope for forgiveness to any he had offended, and he did forgive all who rubbed him the wrong way. I fully expect to see him in Heaven with a Red Sox patch somewhere on his angelic outfit. To those of us he left behind, our time in getting Up There is soon. Knowing Mike, he'll probably put in a good word for us.
