Mike was wonderful to work with on the pond clean-up - he worked harder than the people half his age and I really admired him for his dedication to that. My daughter enjoyed working alongside him too. I saw him recently on one of my walks around the neighborhood with my son and always felt happy to see him. I am so sorry for his family's loss and I can tell he was a real special person with a lot of character. Our neighborhood will not be the same without him, that is for sure.

Marietta, I just learned of Michael's passing from Dottie Culpepper and I
want to extend my sincere condolences to you and your family. We had
a lot of laughs together as members of USPS, and I shall keep them as
fond memories of Mike. Ed Cornell, Apollo Beach Sail & Power (Apollo

Our neighborhood pond work days won't be the same without Mike's enthusiasm, good humor, and willingness to help. I knew I could always count on him. He will be sorely missed around here.

We will miss "Pa" Foy's laugh and many many jokes. He was a kind man and loved to laugh. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Donna, Marietta, and family in the loss of a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Foy and Nuccio families in their time of loss of their dear loved one. May Michael rest in peace in the arms of our savior.

I met Marietta through my position at Mediation-Diversion Services at the courthouse and was an admirer of her father as the best Mayor Tampa ever had. God bless you and both families.
