Mike GRAYSON Obituary
48, of Tampa, born in Charlotte, NC, Aug. 12, 1967, passed away May 9, 2016 of a brain aneurysm. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Robert Grayson, and survived by his wife, Michelle Toland-Grayson; his sons, Shawn and Brian, his daughter, Rachel, and a large extended family. His passions were baseball and music; he pitched for the Milwaukee Brewers in 1988-89; he owned and operated Diamond Notes Entertainment in Tampa, and was one of the best wedding DJs ever! In his final hours, as an organ donor, he gave others a second chance at life. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 21 at 2 pm at the River Run Condo Clubhouse, 6565 River Lodge Lane, Weeki Wachee. For his full obituary, call (352)610-3978 or visit:

Mike was the nicest guy you could know. We were on the same team for years. The last time I saw Mike, He had come home from Spring Training. He was still the nice guy I knew growing up. I am in shock to know he is in Heaven too soon. I offer the entire Grayson Family my sincere and heartfelt condolences. Mike, you are truly missed and loved by all who knew you.

I remember Mike was a great guy back in school. Hadn't seen him much since, but I certain he touched many people's lives as an adult as well. Sending prayers and condolences to those left behind. I know it's a dark time, but his l light will live on forever.

So sorry to hear of Mikes passing. I don't think his Mom ever missed a game. Coaching him and watching him play in Town n Country, with my Son Jamey, was rewarding and to see them play for Leto made it all worth while. RIP Mike. You left us way to early. Condolences to his family.

Remeber playing against or as a teammate at TnC for years, and at Leto.....wish I would we woud have stayed in touch. Prayers to to his entire family. We'll catch with each other up one day..

Several classes with Mike at Leto. Being in Sports, we talked a lot about baseball and basketball. He was a cool dude. My Lawhorn Family sends Best Wishes to all of his family. R.I.P Mike. God take care of our fellow Leto Falcon gone to young.

So sorry to hear this. I went to school with Mike and he was always a great guy. Always very nice and friendly to me at a time when many were not. Years later he'd come in to buy music at the store I managed. He was still genuine, friendly and cool in all the years after high school when I'd run into him. So sorry for his family. He was a really great person.
