Milton WARNER Obituary
94, of Saint Petersburg, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pittsfield, MA, September 20, 1922 to the late Milton B. Warner Sr. and the late Florence T. Warner. Burrage held degrees from Harvard and Oklahoma State. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII. He taught mathematics at Lenox, Casady, and Berkley schools. He was also important in the Power Squadron, he coached athletics, and was a lifetime member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. Burrage is survived by his wife of 13 years, Mary Lou; children; two daughters, Ashley Ann Warner and Alice W. (Ian) Jackson; two sons, W. Fletcher (Barbara) Warner and B. Seth Warner. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Jane Gray. There will be a memorial service, Friday, August 4, at St. Dunstan's Anglican Church, 2790 Sunny Breeze Avenue, Largo, FL, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to St. Dunstan's or the St. Petersburg Sail and Power Squadron. Visit his online guestbook at:

Mr. Warner was my Geometry teacher, high school sophomore year. Not only was he respectful and made it enjoyable, what he taught went beyond math, even into philosophy. He laid foundations that shaped my thought processes throughout my professional and personal successes to this day. I'm grateful to have known him. Photo from Berkeley Prep, Tampa, '74-'75, yearbook. Fletcher, Barbara & Family, Mr. Warner was a wonderful, kind, gentleman, friend and client of ours. We send our condolences to the Warner Family. Our heart goes out to you all. He will be fondly remembered forever and we will miss the great man he was to us all.
