Oletta Taylor Obituary

TAYLOR, Oletta Miley, beloved mother and grandmother, left to be with the Lord on November 27, 2003 at the age of 90. Oletta was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ted Taylor. She leaves five children, Jack Taylor and wife, Debbie, LaVerne Hampton and husband, Jim, Marilyn McIntyre and husband, Bob, Linda Mack and husband, Don and Ted Taylor and wife, Yoko; 15 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; four great- great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ethel Putnam, Nadean Bandy and Norman Miley. Oletta was a member of First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace, a Sunday School Teacher and Bible Study Leader who dearly loved and served the Lord. Services will be held Monday, December 1, 2003 at Terrace Oaks Funeral Home, 12690 N. 56th St. at 3:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.M. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers a donation in Oletta's memory may be made to LifePath Hospice/Gold Team, 13902 N. Dale Mabry, Suite 290, Tampa, FL 33618.

I am her great-granddaughter who wll miss her dearly. She ment a lot to me and to everyone else. I will miss the way she made things for her grandchilderen. Our Granny Taylor was the nicest person you could ever meet and she won everyones hearts as well. We all love you granny and you will be missed.
