Daley, Pat Turner
97, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025.
Pat was born in Tampa, and attended Gorrie Elementary, Wilson Jr. High and H.B. Plant High School. She graduated from the University of Georgia (UGA). At UGA she was elected Miss Freshman, was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and was Head Cheerleader. Following graduation Pat was elected as a Maid in the Court of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla. She began her career teaching elementary school in Tampa.
Later in life Pat's love of the community led her to real estate. She was a broker with Smith and Associates. Although a top selling realtor, volunteerism was always her true love, and she was recognized for her outstanding service by many organizations. She is a member of the Junior League of Tampa and was recognized in 1995 as Sustainer of the Year. Pat was a Founding Member and the Board President of the H.B. Plant Museum Society. She was instrumental in helping form the Mary Lee's House Auxiliary. Pat was a member of the Children's Museum-Kid City Board of Directors and was the first "Mayor" of Kid City. She was active in the Children's Home Board, Seniors in Service Board, Weeder's Garden Club, Chiselers, Sword of Hope, Red Cross Angels, Tampa Museum of Art, and served as President of the Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association.
Pat served on the Outback Bowl Board of Directors as the Outback Bowl Hospitality and Entertainment Chair. She also served as Chair of the Sports Council for the Tampa Chamber of Commerce and as Media Relations Chair on the Executive Committee of the Super Bowl.
Pat loved tarpon fishing. She was active in International Women's Fishing Association and won many tournaments.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Daley and her brother, Lee Turner of Bradenton. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Coney (Tony); her son, Tom (Kathryn; her daughter, Katey and grandson, Jayden), granddaughters, Carolyn Coney, Julianne Revere Coney (Robert Revere), Allison Mae Daley; sister-in-law, Jean Turner of Bradenton; and her nieces and nephews.
