74, of St. Petersburg, passed away Aug. 17, 2015 after a lengthy illness. A Funeral Mass and Interment will be in Brockton, MA. Richard is survived by his wife, Nola Barnard; children, Richard Barnard (Carol) of Jacksonville, FL, Debra Hickey of Wareham, MA, Sheryl McDonough (Michael) of St. Petersburg; grandchildren, Jessica and Benjamin of Jacksonville, FL, Lynn and Megan of St. Petersburg; brothers, Thomas Barnard, of Brockton, MA, Frederick Barnard of Holbrook, MA; many close family and friends. Richard was our paperboy in the old neighborhood on Crescent St. He took me to my first dance in the eighth grade. He stood with the boys all night and I stood with the girls. So innocent. My sincere condolences to the family. Rest in peace Richard. Charlotte Mather Stroedter.

Hello, my name is Pam Barnard.I grew up in the town of Scituate, mass. My fathers name was Richard L. Barnard. My great uncle was Elwin Barnard,he lived with me till he was 95 years old.
