Richard Egan Obituary

EGAN, Richard M. 54, passed away Nov. 8, 2007, at Community Hospital. He was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and relocated to Florida from New Jersey in 1973. He was employed as an elevator installer for the Schindler Elevator Company of Tampa. Mr. Egan was a Roman Catholic and a member of International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 74 Tampa, FL. He enjoyed baseball and loved the Chicago Cubs. He was also an avid Tampa Bay Bucs fan. His other interests included dancing and going to the racetrack. He also enjoyed listening to bagpipe music. Richard was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Susan (Collins) Egan, of New Port Richey; two sons, Richard M. Egan Jr., of Tampa, and Anthony J. "Tony": Egan, of New Port Richey; a brother, Michael Egan; four sisters, Mary Nicholl, Nancy Egan, Michele Weir, and Renie Timpanero. Funeral Services are under the care of North/ Meadowlawn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 12 at 2 pm, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Public visitation hours for Mr. Egan will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 11 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. North/Meadowlawn Funeral Home 727-849-9281
