Quiet strength.
When a man can get his point across with a look, a smile, a wink, or a frown his presence is more powerful than all the yelling combined. A man´s job is to have resolve and gain respect through his actions. A man handles mistakes with kindness and respect. A man walks in a room giving way to others by allowing them to take center stage. When a man can do those things he is strength itself.
Rich was all of these things and so much more. He loved his family more than anyone had a right to.
Together he and Diane were son and daughter, father and mother, grandfather and grandmother. Their Ying and yang was perfection. Where one started the other ended.
Now they are together in the kingdom of our holy father.
Peace is their gift for living on earth. Love is their reward.
Peace be with all those that were touched by such a quiet strong man in Rich. I pray we all can use his lessons to emulate his quiet strength.
Rest in peace cousin.
