Richard Imm Obituary

IMM, Richard L. "Dickie," 57, went home to be with the Lord June 22, 2006. Richard received a stem cell transplant from his oldest sister, Suzanne Sternberg April 5, 2005. Richard lived every day to its fullest always giving testimony to others and giving God the glory for the many blessings in his life. Richard was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Plant City and a member of the men's bible study. He was a wonderful husband and a loving and caring dad and his children can be proud of the example he set for them. Richard had been a member of Parker Creek Hunt Club and he had many friends and hunting buddies. He moved to Tampa from Lima, Ohio. He had been a technician with Perfection Pest Elimination, Inc. in Plant City. He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria L. of Plant City; two sons, Brent Imm and Ethan Imm; a stepson, Pvt. Nathan Kidd, U.S. Marine Corps; a daughter, Andrea Imm; two stepdaughters, Stephanie Pippin and Francis Brozak; two brothers, James and Maurice; three sisters, Suzanne Sternberg, Maurine Coleman and Marilyn Hart. He was preceded in death by a son, Eric and a grandson, Hunter Mazolic. Richard's nieces, Kristy Bless and Kay Nichols and nephew, Carrol Josey were dedicated at caring for him during his illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2006, at the First Presbyterian Church of Plant City with visitation from 1 p.m. until time of services. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens. Richard's family would like to thank the team of doctors, physician's assistants and nurses for their love, friendship and care.
