ROGER, Richard A. "Ricky"

59, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 18, 2018. Born on Jan. 26, 1959 in Ybor City, he graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1977. He was a security officer at Berkeley Preparatory School. He loved his job, the parents, faculty and most of all the students he crossed every morning. Ricky was predeceased by his mother, Marianne Roger and brother, Ralph (Trena) Roger. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lusetta; sons, Ricky Jr. and Anthony; daughter, Jessica (Travis Bourguignon); father, Joe Roger; sister, Mercedes (Carlos) Munoz; sister-in-law, Susetta (Dennis) Cannon; brother-in-law, Edward (Barbara) Garcia; Godmother, Beva Lemus; Tio, Jesse Roger and Amilio (Rosa) Roger; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins, whom he deeply loved. Richard loved fishing and watching the Bucs. Friends and family can pay their respects at the Celebration of Life service on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 1 pm, 13035 Delwood Rd., Tampa.
