To all of Dick's family Joanie, Karen, Michael, Elena, Cindy, Gary and sons. Grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dick was special to many people and he cared deeply for all his family and his friends.
Many people knew him and all he was capable of in his personal life and his business. I met Dick in 1967 when he and Joan's business Seminole Tile was located on 95th Street. My husband worked for them and we were all close personal friends and still were even though many things had changed in all our lifes. We all spent a lot of time playing cards, fishing and of course his favorite going to the dog tract and let’s not forget the horses.
When Dick became ill it was a joint effort from his family to give him all the care love and support he needed. Although Cindy was his primary care giver and daughter she was not alone. Mike and Karen and Joan were there too, to help in any way they could.
My prayers and condolences to Dick's entire family. He loved and was loved by many. May you rest in peace Dick. I will remember you with many fond memories. Judy Pullara

My Dearest Cindy,
I'm so very proud of you for putting your life on hold for the sake of your father's. He was a lucky man to have someone as loving and caring as you looking out for him and his wife Cathy. You single handedly took on a challenge that would have been a handful for 3 or 4 people. Your complete selflessness is what separates you from everyone else. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that your dad and Cathy are "Together Forever," just the way they wanted it. My deepest sympathy to you, Gary, and the boys.
Love, Laura

Dear Cindy,
Although I know you will miss your father,I also know that you should have no regrets about how you were there for him in his time of need. Cindy, everytime I saw him he would speak about how you were caring for him and about how proud he was of you. You were there for countless hours upon hours caring for his needs and sacrificing your own. He was a very dear man and you were there to be his voice and his Guardian Angel. We will all truly miss him..

My Sweet Karen,
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I will always remember the light in your dad's eyes when he looked at you and how special the bond was between the two of you. He loved you very much and it showed!

I remember Dick from 1969-70 era. I was 17-18 years old and I got my first real job in Fl as a tile setters helper at Seminole Tile. Dick hired me for 2 summers, while I attended college. He was always a fair, nice guy to me and always treated him employees with respect, from what I saw. That's how I remember this guy from a short part of my life 40 years later. I remember he showed up in a new fancy Firebird one day. We were all impressed! He taught me that hard honest work will get you somewhere. You know, I haven't really spoken to him since, but he left a good impression on that young guy back then. God bless the family and I hope this brings a warm thought to them about the man he was to me.

To the Tuhro family, Dick was lots of fun and we always enjoyed our visits to Florida and spending time with him. I will always remember how his guests would get seasick on his boat rides into the vast Gulf of Mexico! Dick was so good to his sister-in-law, who is my mom, Patty. She has fond memories of him during her trips to see Joanie. Remember your Northern family loves you and are thinking of you always. Love, Tina and family
