Robert FALLER Obituary

FALLER, Robert O.

Heaven's gates opened wide for our loving friend, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather this past Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Born February 16, 1932 in Buffalo, New York, Bob served in the United States Army before becoming a true legend in the ad agency industry. He created and produced campaigns for some of America's most prestigious brands, always with a "whatever it takes" approach to serving his clients' needs.

He was the ultimate pitchman and mentor, instilling a sense of trust and confidence with whomever he came in contact. Bob was the supreme optimist, seeing the positive in all situations and people. His altruism was apparent even in simple interactions, where he always made a point to direct the conversation to be about you and why you were so special. He had the uncanny ability to light the fire within, encouraging others to always make more out of what they already were.

While Bob's accomplishments in professional and philanthropic pursuits earned him many rewards and honors, his greatest sense of pride was derived from the loving and caring family that surrounded him. He is survived by his amazing wife and bride of 60 years, Janet Faller (nee Lemoncello), whom he married in Kenmore New York, as well as his three children, Cynthia Faller Fabrizzi (Vincent Fabrizzi), Lisa Faller (Alan Deutsch), and Robert Faller (Karen Faller). He will also be deeply missed by his six grandchildren, VJ Fabrizzi (Ninou Fabrizzi), Alina Fabrizzi Linthicum (Alex Linthicum), Alexandra Faller, Sarah Faller Williams (Ryan Williams), Carly Faller, and Jenna Faller; as well as one great-grandchild, Penelope Linthicum.

A viewing will take place Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 4-7 pm, at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL 33759. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10:30 am, at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 245 Dory Passage, Clearwater, FL 33767.

Bob was not only a truly creative and talented ad man, he was a genuinely kind, fun loving and generous human being as well. I feel extremely fortunate to have had the good fortune to work closely with him for many years, and to socialize with him as a friend. My sincere condolences go out to Janet and the rest of his family. May he rest in peace.

Bob was my original partner in our ad agency in Buffalo. He and his wife/family are people whom you respect for their decency. Many decades ago we were like brothers. Never believed he would move on before me ( 10 years older)
Janet, Wendy and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Bob was for real ... no phoniness and great talent.

Mr. Faller was a gentleman of the highest order. His integrity impeccable. His love of family forever. His glass always half full. And his faith untouchable. He was always a renaissance man, no matter what the decade, and a man's man for the times. He had the Golden Ticket yesterday, so no worries Faller family. We will all meet us with this fine gentleman again.
