Robert Powers

Powers, Robert M. age 68, of Gulfport, died July 11, 2007, at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg. He was born in Syracuse, N.Y., and moved to area in 1986 from Boston. He worked for Boston & Maine Railroad as a trainmaster for 20 years. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and American Legion Post 273 in Maderia Beach. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Corinne. He is survived by his daughters, Jane Fowler, Judy Powers and Sandra (Robert) Bernard, all of Gulfport; his son Capt. William (Heather) Powers , U.S. Army, National Guard, Fort Meade, Md.; his sister, Elizabeth Dulin, Acworth, Ga.; and five grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 20, at 11 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church. National Cremation Society Clearwater
