Robert Sharpe

SHARPE, Robert Joseph, 67, of Dade City, Fla., passed away the morning of Saturday, December 2, 2006, at his home under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. He was born July 22, 1939, in Toronto, Canada, and moved to this area 45 years ago from New York. He worked at the Pasco County C-Barn as a mechanic, and was a U.S. Army veteran and an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy Jane Sharpe, Dade City; three daughters, Helen Marie and Ricky Williams, San Antonio, Cynthia L. Peterson, Tallahassee, and Betsy Lynn and Rikk Weber, Zephyrhills; one son, Robert Joseph "Robbie" Jr. and Trish Sharpe, Dade City; his mother, Eva Sharpe, Spring Hill; two sisters, Sally Jameson, Homasassa Springs, and Debbie Bunn, Spring Hill; one brother, Danny Sharpe, Lake City; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Sharpe; and one grandson, Joshua Williams. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at the 301 chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
