Roger Gehrke Obituary

GEHRKE, Roger "Buz" Gordon, 71, of New Port Richey, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. He was born in Milwaukee, Wis., and moved to Florida from Milwaukee in 1996. He was the owner and operator of A-1 Bleacher Brokers & Manufacturers in New Port Richey for over 20 years and was of the Protestant faith. He was a life member of Wayfarers Lodge 1001 Free & Accepted Masons in Evantson, Ill., and Tarpon Springs Lodge 112 Free & Accepted Masons, a member of Scottish Rite Valley of Milwaukee and Temple Shrine of Milwaukee, and International Association of Fair & Expositions in Springfield, Mo. For over 30 years Buz provided hundreds of Thanksgiving meals for the less fortunate. He is survived by his daughter, Linda K. Richards of Marietta, Ga.; and brother, Edward D. Gehrke of Louisville, Ky. A memorial service will take place 2 p.m. Saturday, February 18, at Dobies Funeral Home, New Port Richey.
