Ronald Mills Obituary

MILLS, Ronald E. "Ron," 75, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center. He had been a resident of Florida for 65 years, coming here 29 years ago from St. Petersburg and retiring from the City of St. Petersburg after 25 years of service as a police officer. A member of the City of St. Petersburg Retired Officers and a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, serving in the Korean conflict, Ron loved farming, fishing and hunting. He i s survived by his wife, Bobbi of Brooksville; sons, Kevin M. of Brooksville and Ronald Jr. of Eustis; sister, Betty Sims of Pennsylvania; nephew, Scott (and Bonnie) Mills. Memorial services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
