Ruth Regalado Obituary

Regalado, Ruth "Betty"

age 83, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 15, 2025. She was a warrior cancer survivor, with diabetes and heart disease. She rests in peace now. Betty was a native of Tampa, graduated from Chamberlain High School, completed nursing school, and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for many years. Filled with warm friendliness and an easy-going spirit, she was a delight to be around. She collected new friends everywhere she went. Her sense of humor and quick wit kept us on our toes. We loved our Betty Boop! She enjoyed craft projects, and collecting trinkets and treasures. She appreciated classical music and the grace of ballerinas. She loved traveling and touring historic places. She enjoyed years at Treasure Island beach, Blue Ridge mountains, and Phoenix desert, then back home to Tampa. Her beautiful light will shine forever within us. Betty is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Fred Regalado Jr; her sisters, Darlene Combs and Toni Cason (Roye); her sons, Robert Pardo and Scott Pardo; grandson, Michael Pardo Jr; great-grandsons, Michael III and Myles Pardo; plus many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Pardo and brother, Johnny Black. We thank God for our precious memories. A Celebration of Life will be held in January 2026.
