Stephen Christie Obituary

CHRISTIE, Stephen "Gator," 56, of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, October 31st, 2006. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a longtime resident of Tampa, an U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and a reliable owner operator of Super Transport for over 24 years. Gator was an avid golfer, enjoyed all sports, camping, and fishing with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; daughters, Heather and Jennifer; sons, David and Garrett; son-in-law, Jon Meyer; granddaughter, Eva Grace Meyer; mother-in-law, Janet Amon and many other loving family members. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2006, at Blount and Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W. Bearss Ave., Tampa, FL 33618. Interment with military honors will take place at noon at Florida National Cemetery.
