Susan THOMAS

1944 - 2021

THOMAS, Susan Ann (Lett) passed away in her sleep July 28, 2021, after a short illness. Sue was born in 1944 in Los Angeles, California. She always said she was born on Wilshire Blvd. and raised two blocks from the Rose Parade. Sue was a wonderful wife to Ron Thomas, attentive daughter, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, fabulous sister and friend to many. Sue was a beloved active community leader in North Pinellas County. She was past president of the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce, past Tarpon Springs Rotary President, and active in the Friends of The Library. Sue was also very involved in both the Tarpon Springs and Dunedin Fine Arts Center. She was an accomplished and awarded nature photographer. Sue never met a stranger she could not befriend. Her light spread wherever she was and will be eternally missed by so many people who she touched throughout her life's journey. As Sue would say, "Life is a hoot." That is how she lived her life. Sue was an avid animal and bird lover. Her family would like donations or gifts sent to the Audubon Society and The Sun Coast Animal League of Palm Harbor. Curlew Hills Memory Gardens
