FINNEY, Suzanne Minette On Friday, February 5, 2021 at age 57, Minette lost her courageous battle. She passed peacefully with her love, Eddie, by her side. Minette was born June 30, 1963 in Chattanooga, TN and raised in Tampa, FL. She attended Tampa Catholic and St. Petersburg Junior College where she studied Interior Design. Later, Minette moved back to Chattanooga and started a career and business in Cosmetology. Minette loved life and embraced every moment. She especially enjoyed the quaint moments. Morning conversations on the lanai, a lazy afternoon by the pool with Eddie, a call from her son Jerry, seeing the sparkle in her grandson Clark's eyes on a facetime chat, or talking with her mother, brothers, nieces, nephews, and friends. Minette will be remembered for her gentleness and kindness. She brought so much love and joy to our lives and to those around her. Minette is preceded in death by her father, Albert J. Finney. She leaves behind her adoring soul mate, Eddie Wright; mother, Madge Anderson Finney; son, Jerry (Kelli) Gaherty; grandson, Clark Gaherty; brothers, Mark (Cynthia) Finney and Mike (Glenda) Finney; several nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as a host of loving relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 20, at 3 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 3239 Battlefield Pkwy., Ft. Oglethorpe, GA 30742. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 1-3 pm prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to American Liver Foundation.
