Anthony McCOY

McCOY, Anthony 80, of St. Petersburg, died January 31, 2023. Tony was born February 27, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY. Graduated Blair Academy, 1960; Coe College, BA 1964; and University of Maine, MBA 1968. He was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, 1964-1968. He was an elder at First Presbyterian Church, past president of St. Petersburg Bicycle Club, past president of Pinellas Trails, member Seminole Chamber of Commerce, member St. Petersburg Yacht Club, member track team and Phi Kappa Tau at Coe College. He was a franchise owner of three UPS Stores and a marketing and advertising executive in banking. Tony was dedicated to cycling, sailing, the Tampa Bay Rays, and volunteer service with St. Pete Free Clinic. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Harrison McCoy; son, Michael McCoy; daughter, Michele McCoy Bochert; son-in-law, Brian Bochert; stepson, Rusty Eckert; stepdaughter, Ginger Eckert Aloisio; son-in-law, Brian Aloisio; and grandchildren, Vivienne Pearl and Wren.
