Thelma B. Peacock
PEACOCK, Thelma B., 74, lifelong Tampa resident, was called home to our Lord Monday, August 14, 2006. Thelma was bright, beautiful and full of life. She was a dedicated employee of W.T. Grants Department Store for 15 years and Bank of America for 20 years. She was loved by all who knew her and affectionately called "Me-Maw" by many. Thelma made friends whereever she went and will be missed in the many lives she touched over the years. Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her four children, Johnny H. Peacock Jr., Sherrie L. Rudisill and husband, Bern, Linda Cox and husband, Johnny Collier, and Cindy McMillan and husband, Wesley; her nine grandchildren, Bern Rudisill and wife, Angie, Charles Wood, Joshua Peacock and wife, Tracy, Tammy Ivey and husband, Jerry, Jonathan Peacock, Alicia Raymer and husband, Joey, Charity McMillan and Ian Hires, John McMillan and George McMillan; and 16 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riley Peacock Medical Fund, payable to Tracy Peacock, P.O. Box 27051, Tampa, FL 33523-7051, in memory of Thelma. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006, at the chapel of JGR Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the services at

I worked with Thelma at the North Florida Office of Bank of America. She was a dedicated employee and everyone who met her loved her. Rest in peace Thelma.
