Tina Napier Robertson Obituary
Tina Marie Napier Robertson, 51, crossed over to her eternal life and joined hands with Jesus on November 16, 2022 after a short illness. Tina was born at Lexington Memorial Hospital on March 6, 1971 to Howard and Martha Whitesitt Napier.
Tina was a graduate of the Class of '89 at Lexington High School. In 1992, she graduated from Lex-LaRay Technical Center with her practical nursing degree. In 1995, she completed her professional nursing degree. Tina practiced as a registered nurse at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Missouri for the early years of her career. It is reported that her elderly patients loved her and would ask for her specifically to be their nurse. Unfortunately, Tina suffered two debilitating back injuries trying to prevent a patient from injuring herself during a fall. These injuries effectively ended her direct patient care career.
Tina spent her days raising her twins, JoLynn and Jacquelyn who were the joys of her life. She happily welcomed her grandson, Henry.
Tina is survived by Rex Robertson, husband, of Napoleon, Missouri. She is also survived by her twin daughters (whom she would refer to as her "Beauties"), JoLynn Houts (Phillip) Salmon and grandson Henry of Bates City, Missouri and Jacquelyn Houts (Boyd) Wilson of Independence, Missouri. She is also survived by her sisters:
• Alice Legan (Darryl) of Bolivar, Missouri (nephew Kevin Legan, niece Cheryl Andreatta).
• Dixie Flynn of Atchison, Kansas (nephew Christopher Carney).
• Robyn Bragg (Bob) of Cortez, Colorado (nieces and nephew Denise Montoya, Rodney Gilliam, Lindsey Bradshaw).
• Julie Nelson (Doug) of Independence, Missouri (nieces and nephew Wendy Manning, Michael Manning and April Manning).
• Elizabeth Ann Waggoner (Keith) of Blue Springs, Missouri (niece LeaAnn Zeller).
• Surviving nieces and nephews Amy Coskey Dickemper, RC Coskey, Sabrina Napier, LaNessa Napier, Rob Coskey, Wes Coskey, Phillip Ward, Ashley Ward and Steve Legate.
Tina was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Dale Napier, Bill Coskey and Bob Coskey, her sister, Marti Ann Legate and her niece Christy Jones.
Tina could often be found sitting on a bench on her front porch drinking a cup of coffee, smoking a cigarette and visiting with neighbors as they walked by. On Sunday mornings, she faithfully watched Joel Osteen and then discussed with "the Sisters" what she had learned. In the past six years, she became involved in politics and was a proud MAGA Republican supporting Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene. She was a Denver Broncos fan (much to our chagrin). Tina had the uncanny ability to see the humor in the irony of the world. She loved spending time with her family and friends and being the center of attention.
On May 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM, a Celebration of Tina's Life will be held at the Napoleon General Store on the square in Napoleon, Missouri. Please come celebrate Tina's life with us.
