Vickie Edwards Obituary

EDWARDS, Vickie Lavon, passed March 25, 2011, in Mount Vernon,

Wash., at 55 years old. Vicky was born to Robert Gerald Edwards & Charmian Claire Mason in Bartow, Fla., December 15, 1955. She lived in Florida for most of her life. In 1999 she moved with her mother to Washington. Vicky took

pleasure in dancing, word search puzzles, needlepoint, and making coasters for almost everyone she knew. Vicky loved singing with Out of the Ashes. She bowled with Special Olympics and in numerous years took home the Gold. Her collection of Disney's Goofy was extensive. She was an avid sports fan, passionate country music follower and enjoyed watching wrestling. Vicky loved her country and held the red, white and blue in high esteem and reverence. She volunteered her time at the Democratic Office and Elks Club. She was quick with a compliment, eager with a hug and everyone she met soon became her friend; her love for family and friends was unconditional. She is survived by her mother, Charm Mason; sister, Trel McRae and husband, Kim; and nephew and niece, Kyle and Char McRae, all of Washington; her brother, Bob Mason of California; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob. Services took place at Hawthorne Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.
