Yvonne Gall Obituary
GALL, Yvonne Adrienne Christine 81, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on Oct. 29, 2007 in Dayton, OH. Yvonne was born in Hagondange, France on March 3, 1926 to Louis and "Meme" Marte (Lungen) Lehmann. Yvonne came to America in 1947 and married her American Sweetheart, Robert W. Gall. They shared 52 years together before Bob passed away in 1999. She is survived by 3 children, Nadine Hoehne-Dayton, OH, Bill (Kathy Sharpee) Columbus, WI, and Mike (Maria) Gall-Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren, Eve (Ted) Dressel-Dayton, OH, Eric (Laurel) Hoehne-Germantown, WI, Tyler Gall-Coralville, IA, Dena (Adam) Dorn-Oshkosh, WI and Baili Gall-Indianapolis, IN; 6 great-grandchildren Marissa Dressel, Jessica and Nicholas Hoehne, Jordan Stahl, Ethan Waldner and Bryce Dorn. Special family members Joe and Christy Waldner-Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by her French family, sister, Luci Wehrle, nieces Monique Pelvert, Doris Leroy, Raymonde Bontemps, Chantal Muller, Marlene Hilbold, Mary Laure Aquilerce and Martine Houari; nephew, Gerard and Bernard Schaefer, Patrice Wehrle, Louie, Michel and Yvon Perrin, Christian and Jean Marc Muller. Also many great nieces and nephews. Yvonne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob; sisters, Jeanette Perrin, Georgette Bouron and Odette Muller; her in-laws, John and Lorna Dithmar; nieces, Sharon Moberg and Jocelyn Wehrle and nephews, Claudy Schafer, Jacky Muller and Daniel Muller. Bob and Yvonne owned and operated Gall's Restaurant in Columbus, WI from 1947 until 1951 and then owned and operated "Bob's Bar" and subsequently "The Town Tap" in Columbus until 1966. Bob and Yvonne moved to Indianapolis in 1967 and to Largo FL in 1981. Yvonne was a faithful member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. She was a Cub Scout den mother in Columbus, WI and was well know for her knitting, crocheting, sewing and craft skills through out her life. Services and interment will be at 1 pm on Nov. 17, 2007 at Washington Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) Kettering, OH. The family wishes to have donations made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420 in lieu of flowers.
