Richard Arcikowski

Richard Dick Arcikowski, 80 of Taunton, passed away on July 4, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Young) Arcikowski. He was born in Taunton, son of the late Francis and Waltela (Adamczyk) Arcikowski. Dick was the owner of Arcikowski Tax and Accou- nting Services. He received an accounting degree at Bentley College and his MBA at Providence College. Dick was a member of the Taunton Elks, and a life member of the Polish-American Citizens Club. He was an avid NE sports fan, especially the NE Patriots, and a season ticket holder since 1960. He enjoyed many ski trips to Colorado and was an avid bowler and golfer. Dick loved his weekly card games, playing poker and his biggest joy in life, watching his grandson play tennishe rarely missed a match. Besides his loving wife Sandra of over 41 years, he is survived by his loving children, Lynn Dupont and husband Louis of North Dighton, Lisa Arcikowski and partner Linda Smith of Marblehead, Lori Arcikowski of Taunton and Sandy Brown and husband Scott of Seattle,WA, grandfather of Kevin L. Dupont and the brother of Francis Chuck Arcikowski and his wife Margaret of Yarmouthport, MA. He was also the brother of the late Joyce Pigeon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 10 am in Holy Rosary Church, Bay Street, Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet directly at the church. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 9th from 4 to 8 pm in The Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Marys Square), Taunton. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the north side of the funeral home.
