IN LOVING MEMORY OF ANN A. COLE Ann, (Mom) was born on December 14, 1929 in northern New Jersey, daughter to Gary and Anna Arentsen. Mom married the love of her life George A. Cole (Dad) on October 30, 1947. Mom ran the house and financial end of the business, always as partners. They remained a happily married couple for over 55 years until Dad's unexpected death in 2003. During their time together they shared their love with their 3 sons, 1 daughter, 2 daughter in- laws, 1 son in- law, 6 grand children and 2 great-grand children. All her life Mom did crochet, whether she was talking, watching TV, riding in a car or visiting someone. She always had her crochet with her. She called this her "mindless entertainment". She made so many beautiful blankets that she gave away to family, friends and so many in need. Many people still keep the blanket she made for them and use it wrap up in it when they need a loving, comforting hug. She was there for everyone, always. Many of our family's friends affectionately called her Mom. On August 24, 2006 after a 5 year battle with cancer, Mom passed and joined Dad. She had shown us her inner strength that still amazes us all. A truly wonderful person, the loving definition of "Mom" to so many people. You are deeply missed and loved by many.
