Brian Noel Obituary

Brian F. Noel

Stuart, FL

Brian F. Noel, 68, passed away from ALS peacefully, January 12, 2017 with family at his home in Stuart, Fl.

He leaves behind his loving wife Debbie of 29 yrs., his brothers, Bruce, Norman, and Don; 9 nieces and nephews; many grand nieces and nephews, two God children, and many friends.

Brian started at the early age of 12 delivering newspapers. After graduating from Hialeah High School in 1965 he joined the Coast Guard and subsequently graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Wildlife and Forestry. Brian became General Manager of Voyager Marine making unique marine hardware. While at Voyager he developed a patented "hasp hinge ". Brian went on to form "Brian's Patio" and it became a landmark on US1 in Stuart Fl. for 23 yrs.

Brian loved fishing and the outdoors and had his first wooden canoe at 14. Brian was like a fish underwater and could hold his breath up to three minutes. He often caught Florida lobsters barehanded. Brian traveled throughout the US and Canada with his wife in his RV for 9 weeks every year for over 25 years. Together, they loved and enjoyed the outdoors having visited many National Parks.

Brian was a very giving person and believed in paying it forward and helping people on a daily basis. Brian loved animals and often nursed injured birds and animals back to health and releasing them back to nature.

A funeral service will be held at Aycock Funeral Home, Young and Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway in Stuart at 12:00 Noon, Monday January 16, 2017 with a celebration of life to follow.

Even in death Brian is paying it forward. He has donated his body to the University of Miami Health System for ALS research. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice or Martin County ALS resource support group foundation.

Dear Family and friends of Brian. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. He was always such a nice, caring person. I knew him from skating with him at Hialeah Roller Rink. One night my ride left without me and Brian waited with me outside of in the dark till 11:30 until my mother picked me up. Everyone else had left. I will never forget that act of kindness. I'm sure there are alot of other stories out there showing how gracious ,kind and caring he was. He is in a perfect place for him now , exactly what he deserves. My prayers to all.

I'm so sorry to hear about Brian's passing. I use to go to the Hialeah Roller Rink and see Brian about 3 days out of every week, when we were young. I also met Brian in Stuart, where I have lived for the last 15 years. I'll pray for the family.

What a beautiful service. So sorry for your loss Debbie. Such fond memories of the patio store, pool parties and Christmas time. Brian always asked about the kids and what new adventures Matt and I were up to. He loved hearing others stories! Much love, The Fuller's. Matt, Melissa, Taylor, Mason, Emily, and Morgan.

Dear Noel Family, I truly am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Brian, when he came to visit his mom at the Nursing Home, there was never such a devoted, loving son. He came every day to visit, make sure she ate all her meals, made sure to tuck into bed every night, but he touch so many other lives during his visits, taking time to visit, listen to the other residents. My heart is sadden today when I heard the news, but God needed him now, and he is now with his mom, whom he loved so much. May God bless you all and give you the strength you need. Rosie Rowe

Dear Deb, Thinking of you and remembering Brian for the nice neighbor he was to everyone on Cheerio Way. We will all miss his friendly and helpful nature. He was one of the first neighbors we met when we bought our lot back in 1999. Hope to see you soon taking your daily walks and also at another of our Ladies' Lunches. You always add a special sparkle to any gathering.
